MADISON – Today, the Fire Fighters and Fred Wade make public their support for the election of Ben Manski to the Wisconsin State Assembly.

Joining former Middleton Mayor Doug Zwank, Democratic primary candidate Fred Wade, made his endorsement of Manski, saying that, “Democracy is an endangered species. Ben Manski will work to restrict corporate spending in elections, prevent governors from creating laws without legislative approval, and create competitive legislative districts.”

Last week, Ben Manski was endorsed by leading Democrats Peg Lautenschlager, Ed Garvey and Douglas La Follette, who joined two dozen local elected officials, including most recently, former county supervisors Mark Opitz and Nelson Eisman, in backing Manski. Other key endorsements have included Madison Teachers, Inc., Progressive Dane, Progressive Push, the Four Lakes Green Party of Dane County, the Wisconsin Green Party.
