West side native and local activist for academic success for students of color joins campaign to keep Assembly seat progressive.

MADISON – Today Ben Manski announces that Donna Vukelich has joined the campaign as treasurer. This is the latest in a series of prominent people to endorse Manski’s run for the 77th District of the Wisconsin State Assembly.

“I have known Donna for a decade; she embodies what’s best about westsiders; in her is a commitment to service, combined with critical thinking, and compassion.” says Manski.

It is fitting that a long time advocate for public education, immigrant rights, and LGBT equality, Donna Vukelich, would enthusiastically sign on to be Ben Manski’s treasurer for the 77th Assembly District race.

“Ben and I share similar values,” says Vukelich. “I think Ben will be an excellent representative of the people in the 77th – my friends, and neighbors – we couldn’t ask for a more committed person.”

Ben Manski is a public interest attorney and pro-democracy advocate. He is a frequent guest on WPR’s “Week in Review.” Manski is the executive director of the Liberty Tree Foundation, as well as principal attorney at Manski Law, LLC, co-owner of the green business network PosiPair.com, a member of the Sociology faculty at MATC (AFT 6100), and an associate fellow with the Institute for Policy Studies in Washington, D.C..
